Malcolm Harris

Malcolm Harris is a member of Second Baptist Church where he plays trumpet in the orchestra. In addition to teaching middle school band, Malcolm has played in a variety of venues in the city. He composed music for the Economic Summit that was held at Rice University in 1997. Every year Malcolm arranges music for the Lighting of the Christmas Trees at City Hall. We are blessed to have Malcolm Harris be the principal arranger for Jazz In The Morning.

 

Richard Birk

Richard Birk is a member of First Lutheran Church in Angleton, Texas. Richard is a music professor at Brasosport Community College in Angleton, Texas. He also is the leader of Jazz Sunday, a jazz band which performs in the Gulf Coast area. Richard has written some outstanding arrangements for Jazz In The Morning.

 

Don Elam

Don Elam is a prolific arranger in the Houston area. He regularly writes for Theatre Under the Stars and many other professional musical organizations. He arranges Christmas music for large churches of all denominations. Don has arranged some wonderful hymn tunes for Jazz In The Morning.
